My work explores the meeting point between geometry and the Mediterranean landscape.
Lines, planes and layered surfaces become a visual language through which I explore light, balance and the quiet rhythm of place. Although my paintings are abstract, they are rooted in real experiences. The horizon of the Aegean, the geometry of architecture, weathered walls, shifting light and the traces that time leaves behind.
I am interested in reducing an image to its essential elements. Every composition is an attempt to remove what is unnecessary until color, structure and space can speak with clarity.
Rather than telling a story, I create an open space for observation. I hope each painting invites the viewer to slow down, look carefully and discover a personal connection that cannot be prescribed.
For me, abstraction is not about simplifying reality. It is about revealing what remains when everything unnecessary disappears.
